Editorial Design
Oats focuses on writings about films. It is named “oats” because oats are eaten usually “steel cut”. And when a film or a motion graphic pieces are introduced on papers, we use “still cuts” from movies to provide imagery of the work. How they become flat through the pages of the zine, yet alive. Designed with a challenge to use only two colors, black, and white on a newsprint paper. Oats is an editorial design with sustainable printing in mind.
